Estelle Métayer is President and Founder of Competia, where she advises executive teams and boards on strategy, competitive intelligence, and emerging trends. She brings extensive governance experience through her service on the boards of public and private companies, family-owned businesses, and global organizations. Her current and previous board appointments include Nortera, Audemars Piguet, Bombardier Recreational Products, Ubisoft, and family-owned businesses across three continents. Estelle also serves as National Academic Director for the Institute of Corporate Directors’ Board Oversight of Technology program.

Mike Roberts is Chief Human Resources Officer at Emera Inc., where he leads the company’s people strategy and works with leadership teams across the organization on talent management, leadership development, inclusion and diversity, total rewards, performance management, and talent attraction. He previously held senior leadership roles with Irving Shipbuilding, Bell Aliant, and Optimum Talent Atlantic. Mike also brings significant governance and community leadership experience, currently serving on the Board of Regents of Mount Allison University and having previously contributed to organizations including Develop Nova Scotia, COVE, and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.

Together, Estelle and Mike bring a wealth of experience in strategy, governance, leadership, and organizational development. Their diverse backgrounds and perspectives will be valuable additions to the Board as Scotia Investments Limited continues to support the long-term success of its portfolio companies and investments.
