CKF and Scotia Investments Support Art Gallery of Nova Scotia Exhibit Featuring Royal Chinet Plates

CKF has a unique connection to the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia’s exhibit On the Matter of Memory: The Drawings of Harold Cromwell. The exhibit features artwork created on everyday household items, including CKF’s Royal Chinet plates.

It highlights the work of African Nova Scotian folk artist Harold Cromwell, whose detailed ballpoint pen drawings capture scenes of life and memory using simple, familiar materials.

Scotia Investments Limited and CKF are proud sponsors of the exhibit and provided plates for workshops. These workshops gave children, the artists of the future, an opportunity to create their own designs.

On May 14, leadership, the board of directors, and family shareholders viewed the exhibit and these creative works in person.

The exhibit reflects a meaningful connection between CKF products and Nova Scotia’s cultural heritage. It also speaks to the company’s long-standing roots in the province. All are encouraged to visit before it closes on September 13.
