On September 22^nd, we celebrated a milestone event for the construction of a new warehouse expansion at CKF in Hantsport. Concrete trucks began pouring the first floor of the new building in the early morning and completed the job with 35 trucks (264m²) and over 7 hours later.

This new warehouse will connect the existing factory floor into the storage warehouse onsite and will provide an additional 28,000ft² of space for the manufacturing plant. Storing more finished product onsite means reduced trucking and transportation requirements and improved worksite logistics for shipping teams. This expansion represents ongoing investment into sustainable molded pulp products produced in Nova Scotia.

This short ceremony brought special guests Leslie Bishop, George Bishop, Daryl Langille and Kristin Harris to join the CKF and SIL teams in celebration of this milestone.
