CKF Langley: New Production Line

On June 22, CKF unveiled a new department and line of products at its Pulp Manufacturing facility in Langley, BC.

The new department which consist of 4 new pulp molding and forming machines will help in the production of the company’s FSC certified, recyclable and home compostable food packaging range, called Earthcycle.

CKF president Ian Anderson said: “Earthcycle’s expansion in Langley is driven by rising demands for packaging that reduces carbon footprints, aligns with recycling streams, and satisfies consumers’ desire for sustainable options.

Langley’s strategic location near major markets in California, the Pacific Northwest, and Western Canada, coupled with access to global trade routes, strengthens our production capabilities. It also serves as a hub for further Earthcycle innovation, expanding the product line into new market applications.”

Among the distinguished guests who joined us were Minister of State Andrew Mercier, Langley Mayor Nathan Pachal, SIL owners Jesse and Lucas Brotz, Langley City Councilors, and CKF Corporate team.
